Government studies have shown that that 4 out of 5 car seats are installed or used incorrectly. That’s why we designed our Base to be easy and intuitive to install securely. The patent-pending StrongArm™ inside of our Base is a “smart force” amplification mechanism. When you apply a normal hand-tightening force to the Base’s knob, the StrongArm™ mechanism outputs a force 12 times greater. This allows grandma to install a car seat just as securely as a fireman, simply by turning a knob.
