Stainless steel SmartHub™ ring

The SmartHub™ rotational interface is used on Orbit Baby’s car seat bases, strollers, and rockers, and is integral to the way Orbit Baby seats dock, lock, and rotate. For the car seat base, we start with 201 alloy austenitic stainless steel, then cold-forge it in a high-pressure hydraulic press to form the SmartHub shape. Rockers and strollers have a SmartHub ring made of a bulletproof polymer that is weather-proof and maximizes strength and light weight.
